Breastfeeding is a journey all of its own, and at times it can feel like you have taken a wrong turn on the path. Newday Lactation offers a wide variety of breastfeeding services ranging from help with latching to introducing a bottle so you can get you back on track.  My goal is to help you meet yours.  Whether you plan to breastfeed for 3 weeks 3 months or 3  years,  I can help to provide breastfeeding support today for a new day tomorrow!

-In-Home and Office Lactation Consultations:

Newday Lactation Services offers home and office in person visits!

Your in-home or office breastfeeding consultation will consist of a full breastfeeding assessment of baby and mom. I will look over latch, positioning, supply, infant oral anatomy if needed and perform a before and after feeding weight as needed. I will go over any and all of your concerns and develop a feeding plan that works for your family!

Home and virtual visits are available day, evenings and weekends, office visits are available Monday-Friday no later then 3:30pm.  Please make appointments by calling 540-252-9008 or contacting me via e-mail at

In-home consultations include up to two hours spent working with mother and baby in the comfort of their own home as well as messaging support through your medical portal for one week from 9am-5pm. Please allow up to 12 hours for response time via the messaging portal.  I do charge a $25 travel fee for consults further then 20 driving miles of Stafford.

How to prepare for a consult.

General Resources to help with your breastfeeding journey!

-Phone Consultation 

Phone consultations are reserved for clients whose concerns do not require latch help,  slow weight gain, increasing milk production  or any hands on assessment of either mother or child.  Phone consults  will be recommended on an individual basis after an initial conversation of needs.

-Prenatal Consultation:

Bring the class to the privacy of your home! It’s a good idea to understand the breastfeeding basics before baby is born. This one hour consultation consists of a breast assessment, basic breastfeeding information including what to expect during your hospital stay, pump sizing and answering any and all questions you may have to prepare for breastfeeding before baby arrives!

-Prenatal Consultation/ In-home Consultation Package:

Get your breastfeeding relationship off to a great start! This package includes both a 1 hour prenatal consultation and an in-home consult after your little one arrives.

-Understanding Your Baby’s Behavior and Developmental Growth In-Home Class:

This in home 1 hour class will go over understanding your baby’s behavior while also providing fun and interactive playtime ideas to encourage your infants growth and development. This class is most beneficial for infants 6 weeks or older!


Newday lactation services is a preferred Aetna provider. All Aetna insurance members can receive up to 6 in home consultations that will be directly billed to Aetna.

*As an in-network provider with Aetna, we will file for your insurance to reimburse us directly. Your insurance policy is a contract between you and Aetna, and they will make the final determination of your benefits. You will be responsible for any patient responsibility determined by Aetna.

If you have BCBS/Anthem PPO, Cigna PPO, or United PPO, you may be able to secure insurance coverage for up to 6 visits, using Lactation Network. To verify coverage, please submit the form on their website.  Once you are notified if insurance will provide direct coverage for your visits, please contact me to schedule an appointment!

For all other insurance companies please know that:

“Under § 1001 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), which amends § 2713 of the Public Health Services Act, “all non-grandfathered group health plans and health insurance issuers offering group or individual coverage shall provide coverage of certain preventive services for women with no cost-sharing. The list of women’s preventive services which must be covered in plan years starting after Aug. 1, 2012 includes “comprehensive lactation support and counseling and costs of renting or purchasing breastfeeding equipment  for the duration of breastfeeding”

I will provide you with a super bill and itemized receipt for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please know that all insurance coverage’s are different and may not provide reimbursement.

Fees range from $75-$300 depending on the services rendered. Office visits do provide a cash discount of $50. Please contact newday lactation services to find out specific pricing and to schedule an appointment.

Payment can be made in the form of Cash, Check, Venmo, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and healthcare spending accounts (FSA, HSA) with a VISA logo. Please know that 2.6% will be added to credit card transactions for processing fees.

Please note: There will be a $50.00 fee for any visits cancelled within 12 hours of the appointment time.  Thank you for your understanding.
